COG's bulk density is 5.21g/cm", melting point is 2265 C, boiling point is 3654 C.

COG is insoluble in water,acid or organic solvent, but can be slightly soluble in concentrated sodium hydroxide solution, soluble in hot sodium bromate solution, hot concentrated perchloric acid solution or boiling sulphur& phosphorus mixed acid.
